"Landscaping is our passion, let us create your desire."

First and foremost we would like to thank you for taking some time to learn about our company and how we came about. It all began at the age of 11 when John Grogan and Philip Johnson first become friends. At this young age our interest in the green industry began. During the summer months between Elementary School and High School we would mow our neighbor's lawns, pushing our father's 21" mower from house to house. A wise man once said "find something you love to do, do it better than anyone can, and you'll never work a day in your life" We took that advice and embarked on our Landscaping careers. Our passion for the industry grew throughout High School and so did our pursuit for owning a Landscaping business.

We decided to apply to a two year program at Stockbridge school of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. During this program we took classes such as Botany, Plant Identification, Soil Science, Property Design, Landscape Engineering and much more. After the first year of schooling we began an internship for a local company that specializes in Landscape Maintenance. From basics like mulching, mowing, pruning, edging, and cleanups we were trained on how to effectively and meticulously maintain residential and commercial sites. Following the second year of the program we completed an internship at a large landscape firm on Cape Cod. After already being trained in the maintenance aspect of the industry we decided to concentrate on the construction aspect of the business. During this internship we would work 50-70 hours a week working on high end construction jobs. We were extensively trained how to properly install patios, walkways, drainage features and wall systems. We began implementing designs that were given to us by the company architect for larger constructions jobs. An interest in the design aspect became apparent.

We recognized the importance of being a true Design, Build, and Maintenance Landscape company. With experience in Maintenance and Construction the only thing left to master was the Design aspect. As John continued to work for the large firm mastering his craftsmanship, and honing his business skills he also took business classes over the winter at a Community College in Worcester. Phil decided to continue his education at Umass Amherst earning a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture. As graduation approached we knew we were ready to open our own company specializing in all facets of Landscaping. Our hunger to constantly grow, learn more about our field, and always leave our customers happy will forever drive the success of our business. Our mission is to enhance the value of our client's properties by creating beautiful Landscapes, and providing exceptional customer service every step of the way.
